Clarence Valley Charm
Welcome To Glenugie, NSW
Nestled amidst the tranquil countryside of Northern New South Wales, Glenugie is a peaceful rural enclave in the Clarence Valley region, just a short 15-minute drive from Grafton, 25 minutes from the coastal village of Wooli and 1.5 hours from Cromwell Farm in Goonengerry.
The area's gently undulating landscapes blend rolling paddocks, patches of forest, and expansive skies – creating the ideal escape for riders, nature lovers, and event-goers alike.
Glenugie offers both solitude and accessibility. It sits conveniently along Big River Way, the scenic route that connects the Pacific Highway to Grafton and the wider Northern Rivers corridor. Nearby, the iconic Glenugie Peak – also known as Mount Elaine – rises to 316 metres, revealing a dolerite outcrop rich in geological history and home to pockets of dry rainforest and rare native species. This unique landscape invites exploration.
Beyond its natural allure, Glenugie is part of a small, community-focused locale with a population under 300. The area's demographic makeup includes established couples and families enjoying a relaxed pace of life amidst working farms and timber landscapes. Life moves differently here – slow down, soak in the beauty, put your feet up or saddle up for a ride.
At the heart of Glenugie Station is the ethos of Cromwell Farms, the family behind Glenugie Station and its sister properties in Goonengerry. Greg and Alison Cromwell, together with their daughters Aubrey, Morley, and Bella, are committed to regenerative farming – raising heritage breed Dexter cattle, rare pigs, horses, kelpies, and fruit orchards with a focus on pasture‑raised, sustainable practices. Their vision combines homely hospitality with thoughtful stewardship of the land, ensuring every guest experiences both comfort and connection.
So whether you're drawn by rustic charm, scenic trails, or the promise of reconnecting with nature – and perhaps a horse or two – Glenugie Station provides a beautifully authentic backdrop. Welcome to where countryside tranquility and genuine family heritage meet.
We would love to hear from you!
